Gregory Chad Burger Obituary, Death – A tragic collision in Graham County, northwest Kansas, claimed the lives of two drivers on Thursday afternoon. The accident occurred at approximately 12:05 p.m. on US-24, about five miles west of Hill City, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Authorities reported that a 2000 Nissan Frontier pickup truck, driven by Jeremiah Lacey Bell, 41, of Hill City, was traveling westbound on the highway. For reasons yet to be determined, Bell’s vehicle veered into the eastbound lane, colliding head-on with a 2018 Peterbilt semitrailer, which was being driven by Gregory Chad Burger, 54, of Kensington.
Both drivers were alone in their respective vehicles at the time of the crash. Tragically, neither survived the collision and were pronounced dead at the scene. The Kansas Highway Patrol stated that neither Bell nor Burger was wearing a seat belt during the accident.
The incident highlights the importance of road safety and the potential dangers of highway driving. Investigators continue to examine the circumstances leading to the crash.
