Jayden Mazariegos-Ceballos Obituary, Death – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the teenager who tragically lost his life following a collision while riding a motorized dirt bike. The deceased has been identified as 13-year-old Jayden Mazariegos-Ceballos, a resident of Ridgecrest.
According to the Ridgecrest Police Department, officers responded to a report of a motorcycle accident at the intersection of South Sunland Street and East Bowman Road on May 17. Upon their arrival, the officers provided immediate assistance to Mazariegos-Ceballos until personnel from Liberty Ambulance and the Kern County Fire Department arrived on the scene.
Mazariegos-Ceballos was subsequently transported to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. An investigation conducted by the Ridgecrest Police Department revealed that Mazariegos-Ceballos was traveling north on South Sunland Street when he failed to adhere to a stop sign, resulting in a collision with a vehicle proceeding west on East Bowman Road.
