Victor Guillermo Jimenez-Rodriquez Obituary, Death: The Greensboro police are conducting an investigation into a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a man, as stated in a press release. At 6:35 a.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian at the merge of U.S. 29 North and I-40 East, near the Randleman Road exit.
There, they found a man, later identified as 26-year-old Victor Guillermo Jimenez-Rodriquez, with injuries consistent with having been struck by a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe the suspect vehicle may be a Mercedes, according to police reports. Chad Chrin, a daily pedestrian on this road, expressed his astonishment at still being alive, noting the heavy traffic and his concerns for personal safety.
You have to be vigilant. The later it gets, the more perilous it becomes… You aren’t safe anywhere,’ Chrin remarked. Ungray Locke, who also drives this route daily, expressed disappointment that the individual responsible for the incident did not remain to assist the victim.
