William Gray Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal collision with an 18-wheeler that occurred early Sunday morning.
The coroner confirmed that 19-year-old William Gray was the individual killed in the crash. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Gray’s vehicle collided with the rear of an 18-wheeler on Interstate 10. Following the impact, his car became lodged under the truck and was dragged for nearly a mile before the truck driver was made aware of the situation.
A passing motorist noticed the crash and flagged down the 18-wheeler driver to alert them.
The incident remains under investigation as officials work to determine the exact circumstances leading to the fatal crash.
